I know a few people that are watching this don’t… internet. (coughDadcough) So here’s a simple guide to how to read this blog.
Reading the blog
The entries are in reverse chronological order, which means that newer entries will be on the top of the page, and older entries will be on the bottom of the page.
There is a list of the blog entries in reverse chronological order to the right of the screen.
You can click on the year/month you want to see, and it will show a list of all the entries made in that span of time. If you click on the title of the entry, you will be taken to that entry.
Commenting on Entries
On the internet, there are these things called “comments.” Most of the time, I would advise against reading comments on the internet (and leaving comments on the internet.)
But since the only people reading this are people I know, then I would really like some comments/feedback. I’m not doing this for my health (sort of).
I would actually really like it if, on each of my blog entries, you could leave a comment in which you wrote about something that has happened to you in the last week. It doesn’t have to be a big thing—it could be that you watched a Star Trek episode that you haven’t seen in a long time, and you recognized an actor from another TV show. I just want something small or whatever—so I can feel connected.
To do so, you might need some help.
At the bottom of each entry (they’ll usually end with a “Cast of Characters”), there is a link that says “Leave a comment.” If you click on those words, it will take you to another page. There will be a few text boxes. Just write your name in one, and in the larger one, write your comment (and your weekly happening?), and then click on the button that says “Submit.”
I have an About page! It’s not complete, because I really don’t know what to write in it, but if you want to access it, then scroll to the top of this page and click the small link to “About.”
This entry will also be a separate “page,” so you can access it easily at any time by clicking on the link to it.
Let me know if you have any questions. Please leave a comment on this entry if you have any questions concerning the following:
- What is a blog?
- What is a link?
- How do I find…?
- Why are you so awesome?
